Homework Week 7

Activity 1:      READING

·      You are expected to read for at least 15 mins each night.

·      Record your nightly reading in your reading log in the back of your book.

Activity 2:  SPELLING

·      You have 10 words to learn for Friday’s test. Practice your words EACH night for success.

·      A good way to learn your words is the following for each word:

·      Copy the word – Read – Cover – Spell – Check if correct.

·      Practice your words in your Homework book 

Activity 3:  INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY

Complete the set task that you have been given from Miss Brown, either

1.    Otago Maths Problem Solving – remember you can bring your sheet in before Friday and I can check it and return it to you if they are not all correct – give yourself a challenge! 

2.    Reading comprehension

3.    Maths basic facts patterns 

Activity 4: SAMOAN SASA

Use our blog to practice the Sasa at least twice 

Homework Week 6

As it's a short week, we will focus on the following things:
INDIVIDUALS:
Social Studies Fair - due in on Friday
Ellie, Chloe and Nadine - have your drafts of your writing competition in on Friday to be checked

WHOLE CLASS:
Kapa Haka design logo and kowhaiwhai competition due this Friday (so they can be checked before being entered)
Keep practicing the Sasa! (this is very important)
