You are expected to read for at least 15 mins each night.

Speech competition:
We begin working on our speeches in class this week but it will also be our Homework over the next few weeks so begin thinking of a speech topic that will PERSUADE your audience. Let your imagination flow.


Polyfest practice:
Keep up regular practice of the Sasa for our up-coming performances!!

Week 11 notices

Some notices for the last week of Term 2:

• Shared lunch on Friday for Nadine's last day - we will sort out what food we are bringing in class (No potato chips or Dorrito's this time please!)
• Class treat of a DVD on Friday.
• Red Nose Day/mufti day on Friday. Please bring a gold coin for Cure Kids and dress in red if you can!

Samoan Art - Fatu Feu'u panels

As part of our inquiry unit - we studied the Samoan artist - Fatu Feu'u. His work is inspired by symbols and features important to Samoan people - especially respect and belonging. We designed and created our own panels in response to Fetu's work.

Hello Room 10. How has school been so far. I just wanted to say good luck on doing the Samon Sasa in Assembly on Friday. I hope you have got it very good and have been practising alot. Well good luck to you all and have fun at school.

Hi Room 10

Hi room 10 it's Katy. I have been having some good flights so far and are missing school terribly as when we are on the plane I get a bit bored after watching TV all the time. We had a good flight to Christchurch from Invercargill on Saturday. We also arrived safely in Singapore from Christchurch. It was a very long flight. Today we are flying to England on about an eleven hour flight. I am going to be bored. The plane food was alright but not the best plane food. On one of the meals we got a Kit - Kat which I scoffed and so did my brothers, on the other meal we got some MnM's. They were delicious. That is all I have time for now. Here it is about 6:13 in the morning. Talk to you soon
